Skansen — the world's oldest open-air museum — occupies the eastern end of Djurgården island, next door to Gröna Lund and the ABBA Museum. Parking on the island is limited and expensive; the better approach is to leave the car at a Strandvägen or Narvavägen garage on the Östermalm mainland and walk 10 minutes across Djurgårdsbron bridge.
