Parking at Skansen, Stockholm

Skansen — the world's oldest open-air museum — sits on Djurgården next to Gröna Lund and the ABBA Museum. The same parking-scarce reality of the rest of the island applies here: a handful of official lots, mostly full on weekends, with the better fallback being garages on the Östermalm side and walking across.

Good to know: If you're combining Skansen with Gröna Lund or the ABBA Museum (all within 5 minutes' walk of each other), park once on the mainland side and walk between them.

Skansen's official lot at Djurgårdsslätten is the closest option but fills early. Garages around Strandvägen are roughly 10 minutes' walk via the Djurgårdsbron bridge and almost always have space.
